Trash Management Project
Goals:
-
Continue to secure an active relationship with the government/local municipalities for support with waste management in the village and on the beach of Cangrejera.

Consistent implementation of Gary and Yvonne’s commitment to advocate for the village of Cangrejera with the government regarding the waste management crisis.

Provide governmental support and education in the towns upriver where the waste originates that are the main source of the waste which flows directly into the Pacific Ocean from the rivers.

Stop the garbage from entering the Pacific Ocean.

Facilitate education, awareness, and support with in the local community regarding the need for proper waste management options and implementation.

Continue to integrate the youth program with the waste management program for a healthier community.

Teach the youth to be ambassadors of the beach and community, cultivating pride to implement waste management programs.
