Welcome, the Beach Animal Ministry part of Caring Hearts Ministry of El Salvador is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of dogs and cats in the community of Cangrejera and the coastline. Our mission is to provide education to local residents on proper health, medical intervention, and sterilization for their dogs and cats, which will reduce suffering for them and their animals while promoting improved wellness in their community.

We understand that lack of resources and knowledge leads to a highly unprepared culture towards dogs and cats in our community. This has resulted in a high population of neglected animals, which in turn, affects their overall health. Our goal is to decrease this population and provide affordable solutions to improve their health, with proper food, anti-parasite intervention, and sterilization being the top three priorities.

At the Beach Animal Ministry, we aim to decrease the fighting between territorial dogs and cats that are not sterilized, while easing concerns of tourists regarding their personal safety and the aggressiveness among the animals. By improving awareness and offering easy options, we are facilitating social media marketing for businesses and tourists to make donations for our cause.

We believe that sterilizing the dogs and cats will improve the general culture toward them, which will ultimately lead to the betterment of the community. Lack of money and resources for locals have contributed to anemia and Ehrlichia (Lyme's disease) from ticks. We identify the most affordable locations to obtain medicines and food to support our program and have also identified specific veterinarians interested in supporting our program with time and discounted fees for services.

We recruit specific local residents to promote the Beach Animal Ministry campaign in the community of Cangrejera. This enables them to receive services for their dogs and cats from the program, and it also promotes education and support for residents to feel pride by taking responsibility, becoming engaged, and aware of their ability to contribute to the program.

Support Colocha Clinica SV with their ultimate goal to raise funding for a container clinic in El Zonte. This clinic is critical to build a structured clinic along the coast, where households from the mountains, beaches, and highway can seek quality animal care without the struggle to find transportation, money, and time to drive 1-3 hours to the capital city, San Salvador.
